Martinka Bobrikova and Oscar de Carmen visit Arkhangesk

In February, Martinka Bobrikova and Oscar de Carmen visit Arkhangelsk for the artist residency.
The artist duo has been working together since 2005. Their practice, which is often community-based, aims at setting up new social ecosystems. By revolving around the mechanisms and context by which power creates systems of value, they seek to intervene on the border between art and current topics of contemporary life in order to bring about the proposition of the transitory and the utopian.

During the residency, the artists will present a talk about their work. The artist talk will take place on 20 February at 18:00 at Dobrolyubova Library (Arkhangelsk, Loginova st, 2).

The residency is supported by Office of Contemporary Art Norway,
We thank Honorary Consulate of Norway in Arkhangelsk for visa support.
