Daria Orlova graduated from the Murmansk University of Technology in 2011 with a degree in Advertising, and after that received additional education in Russian and German residences, including the Project House (Potsdam) and art courses of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation V. Bubentsov (Murmansk).
In 2010, Darya was a participant in the street conversations “Kitchen conversations” in the framework of the Russian-German project “Dialogue of Cultures” (Murmansk). In 2011, she became the laureate of the art objects exhibition contest “If the city could speak” (Murmansk).
Participated with performance at the international festival BEART (2014). She worked in the genre of comics (as part of the Murmansk art group BoogieBirdsSuppaCrew”). Since 2015, she is a member of the organizing committee of the Norwegian-Russian cultural festival “Barents Bird” in Murmansk.
In 2016 she presented in Arkhangelsk an experimental project on shadow, identity and interaction.
Together with Oleg Samoilov and Masha Biryukova, she organized the exhibition «МхА³», through which the artists shared with the visitors the brightest memories of two cities – Arkhangelsk and Murmansk.
Daria is also a participant in several projects of the Arctic Art Institute in Murmansk.
In her works, the artist experiments with various practices: painting, graphics, pop art, happening, art of interaction.
