Zharenova Olga Gennadevna, was born in Arkhangelsk. She studied at the Children’s Art School No. 1 in Arkhangelsk. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, Faculty of History of Russian Culture.
Since 1993, she has been working as an oil painting restorer at the Arkhangelsk Branch of the All-Russian Art Research and Restoration Center named after I. Grabar.
For over 25 years engaged in patchwork. The first teacher was a grandmother. Olga participated in more than 80 exhibitions (personal – in Petrozavodsk, Tula, Suzdal and three in Arkhangelsk). Also she took part in various festivals: All-Russian festival – patchwork competition in Sochi (1998, Grand Prix), All-Russian exhibition “Patchwork Mosaic of Russia” in Ivanovo (1999, 2003, Laureate), International Festival “Patchwork Style ”, St. Petersburg (2000, diploma for color solution), V International Festival of Folk Art“ The Pied Polyana ”, Tula. (2008, “The Matrix” – Grand Prix).
